The Holud is a joyful Bengali pre-wedding celebration centered around turmeric, music and color. Turmeric is traditionally applied to the couple as a symbol of blessing, warmth, and good fortune before the wedding. Henna artists will be available throughout the evening, and canapés-style food will be served throughout the event.

Dress Code

Bride’s side: yellow and gold. Groom’s side: light green.
Come dressed in bright, festive colors that reflect the warmth and joy of the celebration. Yellow and gold represent warmth and prosperity, while light green symbolizes harmony and new beginnings; South Asian or Western attire is welcome.
